Colossus Doesn’t Stand A Chance In New Clip From Deadpool

Fox has released a minute long clip from Deadpool, and it features the Merc with the Mouth breaking the fourth wall as well as a new look at both Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead in action. The latter definitely impresses as she takes down Angel Dust, but the Russian tough guy is quickly shown not to be a match for the villain.

How much of a role these two X-Men characters are going to end up having in Deadpool remains to be seen, but this movie is actually going to be our first look at the new timeline, which was created following the events of X-Men: Days of Future Past. As a result, fans remain optimistic about the chances of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine also showing up.

Overall, this is a very fun clip and offers up a great idea about what we should expect from Deadpool in terms of the tone and action scenes. Director Tim Miller is a VFX expert, so it was pretty much always a given that the movie would have no issues in that respect – this is definitely the best Colossus has ever looked.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano and Brianna Hildebrand, Deadpool is set to be released on February 12th, 2016.
