Dave Bautista’s Latest Jab At Disney May Land Him In Hot Water

Although The Walt Disney Company has seemingly moved on from the controversy, evidently, Dave Bautista isn’t quite finished tearing the House of Mouse a new one over the firing of filmmaker James Gunn.

Following his latest verbal jab, in which he slammed the multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate for not rehiring the director, earlier this week he decided to continue the social media onslaught against Disney.

On Tuesday, August 21st, Twitter user @VicBergerIV shared a video with Dave Bautista, in which Mike Cernovich – who spearheaded the campaign to remove Gunn from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – can be seen bragging, alongside his wife, Shauna Cernovich, about taking down a public figure.

The two minute and twenty second-long clip – which you can check out below – is undoubtedly cringe-worthy, as Cernovich is visibly lauding his ability to shift a narrative to get his point across. Not to mention the unabashed laughter projecting from both he and his wife directed at their indifference to truthfulness. Bautista was relatively mum on the matter, given his reputation. That said, the actor did tag Disney out in the open, while proffering a sarcastic quip, saying: “Hey Disney! Here’s your guy!! What an inspiration to humanity!”

Ultimately, the video’s a supercut of Cernovich boasting about his ability to lie and get away with it. At the moment, it’s unclear where, exactly, the footage originated from, but that doesn’t excuse the content.

As far as Bautista is concerned, it would probably be in his best interest to tread lightly, at least for the time being. After all, I’m sure the House of Mouse isn’t too keen on his behavior as of late, and the actor may very well find himself terminated before too long. Albeit, I doubt he’d care much at this stage, given that James Gunn won’t be returning for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 now.
