Comprised of impractical fun and over-the-top eccentrics, this run would translate well onto the big screen for a younger audience as well as an older one.

Having a race of shape shifting aliens who believe earth is rightfully theirs allows suspense and mystery to be introduced to the film, much like Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘s reveal that S.H.I.E.L.D had been infiltrated by the villainous Hydra.

These aliens, the Skrulls, have strong ties to the Fantastic Four as well, making this an opportunity for the reboot to crossover into the current X-Men universe. Bringing in other superhero teams isn’t necessary for the story, but as the likes of Ant-Man proved, the inclusion of another superhero will boost the success of the film greatly.

FF and X-Men or not though, Deadpool telling a race of aliens to take him to their leader is definitely something we need to see on the big screen.
