Given how protective Marvel Studios is being of the movie’s content, it probably shouldn’t come as a surprise to see that both images are taken from scenes in the feature’s latest trailer. The first of the two is the reunion between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, which some have speculated takes place against the backdrop of the Battle of New York. While their brief exchange managed to get the internet all emotional when the footage debuted last week, co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo have since claimed that the moment doesn’t even feature in the film. Of course, whether or not they actually mean it is another matter.

The second and perhaps more interesting of the two stills is a shot of Captain Marvel, Black Widow, James Rhodes, Thor, Steve and Rocket flying the Benatar. While we don’t have a huge amount of context to this image, a recently released Endgame clip suggests that the team might be venturing to a distant planet where they believe Thanos is currently resided.

As you can see, Carol Danvers is wearing her new outfit with the golden shoulder pads from the post-credits of Captain Marvel, as opposed to the more casual clothing she sported in last month’s trailer. Also worth noting are the various absent heroes, including Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Nebula, Iron Man and Bruce Banner, who are presumably keeping busy elsewhere in the MCU.

In any case, the new pics are appreciated, but we’ll find out just what Marvel isn’t showing us when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
