Now, we already know that Margot Robbie will be reprising her role of the Clown Princess of Crime, having previously debuted in 2016’s Suicide Squad. So, while we all wait with bated breath hoping to find out who’ll play her cohorts, the expected fan casting and speculation that comes along with that is already underway.

Case in point: some new fan art has arrived online today courtesy of Boss Logic, and it pictures Priyanka Chopra in the role of Catwoman. As you can see in the gallery below (which also includes some other awesome designs by Boss Logic), the character’s costume takes inspiration from both Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry’s versions, and actually looks quite good – all it needs is the mask, really.

While there’s been no talk of the actress possibly nabbing the role just yet, Chopra would certainly make a fine Catwoman. She’s a strong screen presence and has shown that she can be both intimidating and a real badass. Whether the studio would consider her is hard to say, but it’s still fun to think about what she could do with the part and if the actress does somehow end up snagging it, I don’t think anyone would be disappointed.

Last seen in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, where Anne Hathaway assumed the role of the Princess of Plunder, it was once claimed that Matt Reeves’ solo Batman movie would make room in its ranks for Catwoman, before Sienna Miller later refuted those same rumors. The future of the character is unclear, then, and Warner Bros. would surely have no shortage of candidates for the iconic part, but if they were to go with Priyanka Chopra, you wouldn’t hear any complaints from us.
