Marvel Fans Really Want Lady Gaga In Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

It's hard to deny that Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga have great chemistry, and some Marvel fans want to see that in the next Guardians of the Galaxy.

While the future of everyone’s favorite ragtag group of heroes was, at one point, looking grim, it seems like everything’s slowly getting back on track. After being fired from the project, Disney eventually changed their mind and decided to bring James Gunn on board for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Even since then, plenty of rumors regarding casting and plotlines have come to light, though it’s hard to tell exactly what the House of Mouse has in store for fans.

We already shared reports speculating that Mark Hamill and Zac Efron would be joining the cast, and since then, it looks like another juicy rumor has come to light. The Film Updates Twitter account – which is known for having a relatively solid track record when it comes to Marvel scoops – recently shared that Lady Gaga is being considered for the role of Lylla, a sentient otter who would serve as Rocket Raccoon’s love interest.

Lady Gaga has made her mark in the acting world as of late, and is perhaps best known for teaming up with Bradley Cooper for 2018’s A Star Is Born, which took home an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Needless to say, fans from all over are totally onboard with this idea, as it would reunite the two, seeing as how Cooper also voices Rocket.

In fact, one doesn’t have to look far on Twitter to find a show of support, as evidenced by this sampling of Tweets below:

There are plenty of rumors surrounding Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 at the momentbut a few of us here at We Got This Covered certainly wouldn’t mind seeing Lady Gaga join the cast. Our very own Luke Parker even awarded A Star Is Born a full five stars, and we’d certainly love to see the two reunite once more. Fingers crossed, eh?
