Fists Fly And Goons Fall In Latest Trailer For Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

“Why do I get the feeling you’re enjoying this?” Cobie Smulders’ disgraced high-ranking officer Susan Turner mutters in the explosive new trailer for Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.

That’s right, Tom Cruise’s decorated super-soldier is back on the war path in Edward Zwick’s action-packed sequel, which this time finds him pulled back to his old military base in Virginia, a placed riddled with double-crossing officials and government conspiracies. Although it’s here that Reacher digs out some old skeletons from the closet, tracing a string of clues that could potentially lead our reticent war hero toward his estranged daughter.

Marshall Herskovitz and series mastermind Lee Child are the brains behind the script, with the general premise of Never Go Back teeing up Cruise and Smulders as two fugitives – fugitives that are about to be hunted on all fronts, based on the rip-roaring new teaser embedded above.

Also on board for Zwick’s actioner are Robert Catrini, Danika Yarosh, Aldis Hodge, Patrick Heusinger, Holt McCallany and Austin Hebert, and if the filmmaker – who takes over from Christopher McQuarrie in the director’s chair – can harness that old-school charm that ensured Jack Reacher became a cult hit four years ago, consider us intrigued.
