Throwback Thursday, a weekly occasion where people across the Internet indulge in a little nostalgia, whether it’s across Twitter, Instagram, and everything in between. Everyone tends to get in on the fun, too, and just yesterday Gal Gadot shared a new, behind-the-scenes pic from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

It’s by no means the first BTS pic to surface from Zack Snyder’s blockbuster – from an unusually cheerful Caped Crusader to a Man of Steel mid-flight – but it’s certainly enough to pique the interest of ardent DC fans. Suited and booted as Wonder Woman, Gadot’s pic showcases her Amazonian warrior locking horns with a pre-CGI Doomsday. Surrounded by wall-to-wall green screens, if anything, the image is a pointed reminder of the level of CG wizardry that went into the creation of Batman V Superman and, in particular, those effects-heavy scenes included in the eye-popping finale.

Per Twitter:

Despite emerging from a mountain of hype, Batman V Superman will write its name in the history books as a misfire. A relatively good box office haul of $800 million wasn’t enough to inspire much confidence at Warner Bros., and earlier today we caught wind of the ways in which the film’s fallout has affected Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Spoilers: the script has essentially been accelerated now that WB has condensed the comic book tentpole into a single film.

Gal Gadot, meanwhile, will next be seen as the famed Amazonian when Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman bows in theaters on June 2, 2017.
