As you can see, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is the focus of this month’s Studio Cine Live cover, and while those shots of Batman and Superman are definitely familiar, that is indeed a new look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

It’s not massively different to versions of the same image we’ve seen on Entertainment Weekly and Total Film, but that is a new pose, and if you’re not convinced that she’s right for the role by now, then Batman V Superman will no doubt seal the deal next year. She certainly looks the part here anyway, and it’s great to see her standing front and centre before the Caped Crusader and Man of Steel.

While the magazine didn’t have chance to catch up with the actress, they did quiz Ben Affleck on what makes Jesse Eisenberg the right choice to play Lex Luthor, and here’s what he had to say:

“Between the character that was written by Chris Terrio and Jesse Eisenberg’s portrayal, it’s the meeting of two great minds, on the same wavelength. Luthor is, for me, the most interesting character in the film. He’s radically different from what we’ve seen so far. He’s grounded in reality, and he’s extraordinary. This type of film is only as good as its villain. That’s why The Dark Knight was so brilliant, because of Heath Ledger’s Joker. Jesse improves the film with each scene he’s in. He’s not your usual one-dimensional villain, there’s a whole psychology behind him.”

There’s been a lot of talk among fans that Eisenberg might not be the right choice for the role, but it’s hard not to be on board with his portrayal after reading the above comments, don’t you agree?

Starring Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film, Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open in theaters on March 25th, 2016.
