While it’s questionable whether the guy who played Jim from The Office is really the best choice for the next Caped Crusader, it’s still a very stylish illustration that definitely has Krasinski looking the part, though you could probably say the same about a lot of people once they’re dressed in the Dark Knight’s full attire.

Incidentally, Irish bookmakers BoyleSports gave Krasinski 9/1 odds for the role of Batman a couple of weeks ago, with the actor falling behind only Armie Hammer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jon Hamm, Michael B. Jordan and Ben Barnes in the ranking. Of course, if the recent rumor that Warner Bros. is looking for an actor in their 20s for the part turns out to be legit, then you can pretty much throw out that whole list, but for now, a lot of fans will be holding onto their hopes.

With filming on The Batman not expected to begin until the final quarter of 2019, it’ll likely be at least a few months before the next Bruce Wayne is officially announced, though when Warner Bros. does start confirming cast members, fans will also be eager to find out who they have lined up for the Rogues Gallery of villains that Reeves recently mentioned. Regardless, there’ll be plenty of time for further details before the film hits theaters on June 25th, 2021.
