New Images For Cogan’s Trade Starring Brad Pitt

Everyone keeps listing off all of these big-budget films for their most anticipated films of 2012 and I don't blame them, but one film that has been going under everyone's radar is Andrew Dominik's Cogan's Trade. The main reason most probably skipped over the film on their most-anticipated lists is because nothing has really been leaked for the film aside from one image containing star Brad Pitt rocking a shotgun.

Everyone keeps listing off all of these big-budget films for their most anticipated films of 2012 and I don’t blame them, but one film that has been going under everyone’s radar is Andrew Dominik‘s Cogan’s Trade. The main reason most probably skipped over the film on their most-anticipated lists is because nothing has really been leaked for the film aside from one image containing star Brad Pitt rocking a shotgun.

Now, thanks to /Film, we can provide you with a few more leaked images of the film. These new images feature co-stars Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini and Ray Liotta. There is still much to find out about this film, but I simply cannot wait for a trailer to surface. The reason for my over-excitement is because Andrew Dominik hasn’t directed anything since The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, which is easily the best western I’ve ever seen.

He mirrors Terrence Malick in shooting some truly stunning scenery and his slow-burn storytelling is a trait most directors have lost. His name alone will guarantee my butt in a seat. It does help knowing that Brad Pitt is on board the film, along with Scoot McNairy and Ben Mendelsohn.

The Weinstein Company has distribution rights to the film, but no release date has been given yet. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we find out more, but for now take a look at the leaked images below.

I'm an avid watcher of films and I just love discussing and sharing them with the world. I enjoy horror, sci-fi and mostly any genre under the sun, plus I have a slight obsession with Blu-ray's and the whole high definition craze.
