Fernando Meirelles has added yet another cast member to his next film. Reports are coming in today that tell us Jude Law will star in Mr. Meirelles’ next film, 360. Law will join Anthony Hopkins and Rachel Weisz, making for a very strong cast. The film is currently in pre-production and shooting will start next month.
Meirelles is best known for his fantastic film City Of God, one of my favorites. With 360, he will be working off a Peter Morgan script that sounds very Babel-esque, it tells the a multi-stranded story of a number of individuals as they make choices that ultimately effect not only their relationships but their locations. Seven languages will be used across the film with shooting taking place in Paris, Vienna and Bratislava.
