That’s the defiant message from Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – or what’s left of them – as they prepare to mount the greatest counter-attack in history.

Their target? Thanos, a being so big and bad that he’s able to wield a fully-armed Infinity Gauntlet and live to tell the tale… but you already knew that. Which brings us to Infinity War – Part 2, or Avengers: Endgame as it is now known, after Marvel’s surprise trailer reveal earlier this morning sent the Internet into a tailspin.

We’re still in the process of wrapping our heads around Endgame and its colossal, far-reaching story, but down below, you’ll be able to see Kevin Smith’s kneejerk reaction to the first full trailer.

I’m currently making my dream movie, #JayAndSilentBobReboot. It’s going insanely well. That being said, #AvengersEndgame is the movie I dream about seeing! The bittersweet part about watching it will be letting go of all my sweaty anticipation for the story they’re gonna tell!

This preview is much more hopeful and optimistic when compared to the original teaser and Marvel’s Super Bowl spot, which was more of an impassioned war cry than anything else. Not only does it herald Iron Man’s return to Earth, but we see Hawkeye and Black Widow share a tender moment, before Thor confronts the fresh-faced Captain Marvel, who’s seemingly the newest recruit to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. And let’s face it, they’ll need all the help they can get.

All in all, today’s Avengers: Endgame trailer divulged a ton of new information, while still harkening back to the MCU of old. The Russo Brothers have been known to incorporate false trailer scenes and misdirects though, so keep that in mind as we approach April 26th.
