Leaked Deadpool 2 Concept Art Shows Off Domino And Cable

Casting is really starting to heat up now on Deadpool 2, David Leitch’s sequel which is set to begin shooting this summer. It was only a few weeks ago that we learned Zazie Beetz had clinched the role of Domino and just yesterday, Michael Shannon emerged as the frontrunner for Cable. He hasn’t been confirmed for the part just yet mind you, as scheduling conflicts may get in the way, but he’s apparently the studio’s first choice.

If things don’t work out on that front though, there’s certainly no shortage of other actors who could bring Cable to life on the big screen. It’s rumored that Stranger Things star David Harbour is still in the running, and a few days back, we heard that Brad Pitt may be eyeing the role, too. In fact, the Fight Club actor even features in some new leaked concept art from the film, which found its way online earlier today and can be seen below.

Now, given that the photos appeared first on Reddit, it’s entirely possible that they’re fake, so take this all with the requisite pinch of salt. If you ask us though, they look pretty genuine. As you can see in the gallery above, the pics show Pitt as Cable, Beetz as Domino and one shot each of Colossus and the star of the show himself, Deadpool. None of it’s terribly revealing, but the designs of Pitt are undeniably awesome and give us an idea of just how great he’d look in the role. If anyone had any doubt that he’d make a good Cable, these images should help with that.

With Shannon emerging as the frontrunner, it sounds like 20th Century Fox is getting pretty close to finding an actor for the highly sought after part in Deadpool 2, and whether it’s him they go with, Pitt, Harbour or someone else entirely, we’ll be sure to have the news for you as soon as it breaks, so stay tuned.
