Leaked Spider-Man: Far From Home Action Figure Gives Away Some Major Spoilers

A leaked Spider-Man: Far From Home action figure seems to confirm a major spoiler regarding the MCU's new focus on the Multiverse.

As the hype surrounding Avengers: Endgame begins to slowly die down, longtime MCU devotees have been turning their attention towards Spider-Man: Far From Home, which is due out in less than two months. The upcoming Marvel film is set to cap off Phase 3 – having kicked off back in 2016 with the release of Captain America: Civil War – and fans are eager to see their favorite neighborhood superhero return to the big screen.

Earlier this week, just after Disney lifted the embargo for Endgame spoilers, Marvel released a brand new trailer for Far From Home, which went on to rack up 135 million views in less than a day, smashing records previously set by the film’s first teaser. The video starts with a brief introduction from actor Tom Holland, and needless to say, it’s full of spoilers for the latest Avengers film. It shed some light on the consequences of Thanos’ destructive snap, while also teasing at the MCU’s larger multiverse.

Now, just a few days later, a new leak is hinting at an entirely different spoiler. As reported by Cosmic Book News, a recent look at Spider-Man: Far From Home – per an appearance on Ellen – revealed that Mysterio is supposedly from Earth-833, as opposed to Earth-616 (the version of the planet featured in the MCU so far). However, a recent snapshot of a yet-to-be-released Spider-Man action figure shows off a new Spidey-Suit, which strongly resembles the one used by Spider-UK (real name, Billy Braddock). Seeing as how this alternate version hails from Earth-833, fans are speculating that Far From Home will feature not one, but two Spider-Men.

Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time a toy has shed light on an upcoming film. Leading up the release of Endgame, leaked snapshots of action figures hinted at Iron Man’s Infinity Gauntlet, Hulk’s new appearance, and Thanos’ attack on the Avengers facility. Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait long to see if these rumors hold water, as Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to hit theaters on July 2nd.
