New Justice League Poster Brings Superman Back Into The Fold

Now that it feels like we're finally within reaching distance of Justice League's theatrical release, it's about that time for various forms of memorabilia to start flooding stores. Whether it be action figures, premium collectibles, coffee mugs or beach towels, odds are there'll be something for everybody sporting DC's premier team of superheroes, no matter what their price range may be.

Now that it feels like we’re finally within reaching distance of Justice League‘s theatrical release, it’s about that time for various forms of memorabilia to start flooding stores. Whether it be action figures, premium collectibles, coffee mugs or beach towels, odds are there’ll be something for everybody sporting DC’s premier team of superheroes, no matter what their price range may be.

Among the most accessible, easiest to afford and most widely purchased will no doubt be that of posters. To date, we’ve seen various ones of the theatrical and promotional variety creep their way online, most recently with a LEGO-inspired take and another that channeled a classic piece by fan favorite artist Alex Ross.

And while you may be able to get your hands on some of those in stores or via online retailers, there’ll undoubtedly be some created especially for rabid consumers. In fact, the subject of today’s discussion is exactly that – but after you feast your eyes on it, you may argue that it deserves to be displayed at your local multiplex.

Coming to us by way of Pyramid International (I know, it sounds like it’s owned by Watchmen‘s Ozymandias, but it really isn’t), this gorgeous piece places the major players side by side in one crisp image. You can check it out in the gallery above, along with some other new promo material that’s making its way into stores soon.

While there’s nothing terribly revealing on the poster, I do find it interesting to see Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman all grouped together, with Superman floating above them. We probably shouldn’t read into that too much, but it could have some significance. At least Big Blue is being included in the marketing, though, as he’s been absent from almost everything we’ve seen so far.

Justice League opens in theaters on November 17th and in case you missed it, be sure to check out our deep dive into that recent Comic-Con trailer.
