New Trailer For Justice League Will Reportedly Be With Us In April

A leaked 4chan report claims the latest Justice League trailer will screen before The Fate of the Furious in April ahead of its launch in November.

Spare a thought for the folks over at Trailer Track. Over the past few months, the outlet has been inundated with questions and queries regarding the new trailer for Justice League all in the hope of nailing down a specific release window. Well, according to a recent 4chan leak, Warner Bros. plans to debut new footage for Zack Snyder’s superhero ensemble movie before The Fate of the Furious next month.

That tidbit in question was buried in an extensive report pulled together by the DCEU subreddit. First spotted by Screen Geek, the alleged changes include a new release window for The Flash (spoilers: it’s 2020, rather than the original 2018), while David Ayer’s Gotham City Sirens is purportedly targeting February 2019, which would place the female-fronted spinoff in the same vicinity as the Brie Larson-led Captain Marvel movie. Other as-yet-unconfirmed morsels include a positive reception to Wonder Woman – internally, at least – along with potential story clues for the embryonic Man of Steel 2.

Treat this report with heightened caution, then. In saying that, just because one rumor is wildly off base doesn’t necessarily render the entire document redundant. An April release window for the new Justice League trailer is certainly plausible, and it seems Warner plans to screen a preview of Zack Snyder’s effort in front of King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, evoking comparisons to the studio’s handling of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy.

Per Reddit:

“The Justice League trailer will debut in April and will be attached to Fate of the Furious. The plan is also to release a scene from Justice League in front of King Arthur similar to how the Dark Knight trilogy marketed their films.”

On November 17th, Zack Snyder will gather the Justice League to do battle with the invading Darkseid. The Fate of the Furious, meanwhile, has been penciled in for April 14th, and looks set to up the ante to a whole new and, frankly, ridiculous level – even by Fast and Furious standards.
