Read A Page From Captain America: Civil War’s Sokovia Accords

The first trailer for Captain America: Civil War offered only a glimpse of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's take on the Superhuman Registration Act, but the recently released Phase 2 box set actually includes a page for fans to inspect. As you can see, it asks all current members of the New Avengers who assembled at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron to sign themselves over to government control.

The first trailer for Captain America: Civil War offered only a glimpse of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s take on the Superhuman Registration Act, but the recently released Phase 2 box set actually includes a page for fans to inspect.

As you can see, it asks all current members of the New Avengers who assembled at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron to sign themselves over to government control. The inclusion of Iron Man and Hawkeye is a little surprising since that sequel appeared to show them both walking away from the team, but they’re both heavily involved in this story, so it makes sense that they would be here.

Here’s a closer look at what it says:

“In accordance with the document at hand, I hereby certify that the below mentioned participants, peoples, and individuals, shall no longer operate freely or unregulated, but instead operate under the rules, ordinances and governances of the afore mentioned United Nations panel, acting only when and if the panel deems it appropriate and/or necessary.”

Another interesting thing to note is that the document lists the real names of each hero, something which further emphasizes the fact that secret identities will be completely irrelevant in Captain America: Civil War.

Oh, and who is on that United Nations panel? Most of us had assumed that it was the US government hoping to control The Avengers, but chances are that someone like Baron Zemo could be part of an international gathering like that, don’t you think?
