In the promo – seen above – Olsen promises that her character will get to do a lot more fighting in this film than she’s done in her previous two appearances – namely, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War. Not only that, but Wanda will apparently be much more in control of her powers this time around. Scarlet Witch’s fear of her abilities was discussed before in Civil War, so it’s interesting to note that she’s come to terms with what she can do in the interim.

The TV spot wraps up with Olsen being quizzed on how many of the other heroes in Infinity War she can name. It might be telling that the three characters the actress immediately rolls out are Gamora, Nebula and Okoye. Could these be a few of the co-stars that Scarlet Witch will spend the most time with in the movie? It’s possible, as we have heard that there’ll be a surprising connection between Wanda and Nebula, and we know that Wakanda – Okoye’s homeland – will play a major role, too.

Mostly, though, Wanda will be paired with Vision in Infinity War and it’s certain that the movie will move the couple forward quite significantly from where we saw them last. It was clear they had a connection at the time, but in this film, it seems that they’ll be very much in love, with Wanda’s company making the android a lot more human – literally, actually, as Paul Bettany will get to show his actual face for once. That should make it all the tougher for Olsen’s fan favorite when Vision’s targeted by Thanos’ Black Order.

As the promo says, you can catch Scarlet Witch doing her thing in Avengers: Infinity War, which hits cinemas on April 27th and, if early estimates are anything to go by, will break a few records when it does.
