As yet, there’s no details released on what the movie will actually be about. To be honest, with these three involved, are we even fussed with a plot synopsis at this point? No! They could be assimilating a three-hour long supercut of all their career highlights with a voiceover by a rolling Morgan Freeman and we’d dig it. Seems that those involved are excited, kickstarting the funny in the press release.

Rogen had this to say:

“Every two thousand years the planets of our galaxy align in a perfect line that funnels the cosmic energies of the universe to flow into one perfect comedic collaboration. The time is now. This is that project. Nothing will ever be the same.”

And McKay offered this:

“Evan and Seth have been doing amazing things and we’re so excited to work with them. Ben, not so much. Most of my problems with him are personal ones, but I have to give it up…he did come up with a great idea.”

Of the chucklesome trio, Schwartz is the least well-known… for now. While he’s not a household name like Rogen, his stint as Jean Ralphio on Parks And Recreation is a scene-stealing turn. So, we’re definitely looking forward to this flick – decent comedy appears to be enduring a lengthy dry spell. Let’s hope this upcoming effort will end it.
