Sharon Stone has fallen off our radars as of late. While we haven't heard much from her recently, today, the Academy Award nominated actress has announced that she will play the mother of Malin Akerman's Linda Lovelace in Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story.

Sharon Stone has fallen off our radars as of late. While we haven’t heard much from her recently, today, the Academy Award nominated actress has announced that she will play the mother of Malin Akerman‘s Linda Lovelace in Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story.

The biopic about the life of the legendary porn star and her producer/husband Chuck Traynor, played by Matt Dillon, will be directed by Matthew Wilder. The film is currently deep in pre-production at the moment and the supporting cast been filled out, with filming set to begin next month.

Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story stars Malin Akerman, Matt Dillon, Sharon Stone, Sasha Grey, Paz de la Huerta and Harold Perrineau and will release in late 2012.
