While we’re still waiting for an official unveiling of the character from Warner Bros., the ongoing production of Shazam! in Toronto is continuing to offer us our first looks at Zachary Levi as the musclebound, magically-powered hero who’s really the teenage Billy Batson (Asher Angel).

We’ve seen him in costume from the back, from the front, in action and now we have a close-up facial shot of the actor thanks to yet another set snap. “Celebrity photographer” @SeansMovies shared the image on his Instragram account this week and though it looks like a high quality pic, the image was only shared via a snap of his laptop screen. Still, it gives us enough of a glimpse for us to inspect Shazam’s costume a bit further.

Check it out in the gallery down below, along with those other ones we mentioned:

As director David F. Sandberg has already promised, the suit looks to be drawing some influence from artist Alex Ross’ comic book costume, although there is a whiff of the New 52 suit to the design as well. This isn’t surprising, either, as much of the DCEU to date has been inspired by the 2011 reboot of the DC comics universe. All in all, though, we imagine this highly-faithful outfit will please the vast majority of Shazam (or Captain Marvel) fans. Now we just need WB to give us an actual promo image so we can see it in all its glory.

This latest set photo appears to be taken over the last couple of days of filming, which have seen what looks to be a set piece involving a bus crash going before the cameras. After Mark Strong’s villainous Doctor Sivana attacks some civilians, it appears that Shazam saves the day and ushers the passengers to safety. Other location shots have revealed some intriguing connections to Batman’s home city of Gotham, too, and as more continues to roll in, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Principal photography on Shazam! is expected to last until late May, before the film eventually conjures its way into theaters almost a year later on April 5th, 2019.
