Of course, Nicolas Cage is already scheduled to voice his take on the alternate universe character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, but over in the MCU, it seems that Peter Parker is adopting a similar design, perhaps as he investigates some shady goings-on in Europe. In any case, it’s likely that the young Spidey doesn’t want to be seen, which is too bad because we now have a set video that gives us a better look at the costume.

This short clip looks to have been taken from the same carnival sequence that previously saw Peter perched atop a Ferris wheel. While it’s a little hard to make out what’s going on in this new video, it seems that Spider-Man has been thrown to the ground by some invisible danger that will no doubt become clear once all the CGI is added in.

There’s a good chance that Peter’s opponent in this set piece will be Jake Gyllenhaal’s take on Mysterio, with the fairground setting surely providing a fitting backdrop to the character’s illusionary tricks. That being said, there are plenty of rumors circulating that Quentin Beck won’t be the only villain of the piece, with names like the Chameleon, Hydro-Man, and Molten Man also being raised as possibilities.

Anyhow, we’ll find out how Spidey’s trip to the carnival goes when Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 5th, 2019.
