New Spider-Man: Far From Home Photos Feature Peter, MJ, Nick Fury And Maria Hill

In the lead-up to Avengers: Endgame, Marvel hasn’t done a huge amount to draw attention to Spider-Man: Far From Home, which is understandable, seeing how the film’s very existence serves as one big spoiler for next week’s release. Nonetheless, it seems we now have two new stills from the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel, featuring Peter Parker alongside some familiar faces.

In the first photo, you’ve got Tom Holland’s wall-crawler wearing his red and black outfit opposite Zendaya as Michelle “MJ” Jones. If the trailer released back in January is anything to go by, then it looks like the pair’s inevitable romantic subplot will finally get going in the upcoming flick. The second image, meanwhile, has Spidey in his dark stealth suit, which he’ll be wearing on his trip through Europe. It’s long been a popular theory that Peter’s outfit was issued to him by S.H.I.E.L.D., and this new pic certainly supports the speculation, showing the web-slinger in conversation with Nick Fury and Maria Hill.

Of course, one major character who’s missing in both of these stills is Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio. It’s expected that Fury and Hill will pair Peter up with this unlikely ally to fight Elementals across the continent, though given the duo’s comic book history, it feels safe to assume that Quentin Beck will show his villainous side sooner or later.

In the meantime, we’re still faced with the question of how Peter, Maria and Fury are all back in the world of the living after turning to dust in last year’s Avengers: Infinity War. Our answer will surely come when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, before Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 2nd.
