With Superman ostensibly out of the equation – for now, at least – Diana Prince of Themyscira is arguably the most powerful member of Justice League.

Imbued with god-like abilities, a huge heart, and that blistering lasso of truth, Gal Gadot’s fearless heroine also ruled over the box office charts all summer, when Warner’s Wonder Woman movie pulled in an exorbitant amount of cash ($821 million worldwide, last time we checked).

And now, the Immortal Warrior is ready for her second appearance – third if we’re counting that cameo in Batman V Superman – in the DCEU, and it looks like it’ll herald a fiery clash with Steppenwolf. That’s because a new Justice League scene description has surfaced online ahead of November 17th, in which Ciaran Hinds’ galactic foe taunts Diana Prince. First spotted by Batman-News, the clip premiered on a Spanish TV show called Un Nuevo Día, though it’s since been pulled offline.

It did, however, include this chilling line from Steppenwolf:

So, you have the blood of the old gods in you. The Gods died.

It certainly aligns with Steppenwolf’s grave threat that can be heard within Justice League‘s recent trailer: “No protectors here. No Lanterns, no Kryptonians; this world will fall like the others.” From there, Diana confronts the DC mega-villain in a one-on-one brawl, while the others are left to fend off an army of Parademons.

If nothing else, this minuscule scene description is further proof that Darkseid’s subordinate will be able to worm his way into the minds of DC’s costumed crusaders in two weeks’ time. In fact, there have been rumblings that Steppenwolf is responsible for the death of Silas Stone (Joe Morton), which would certainly explain Cyborg’s decision to enlist in the Justice League of America and help fend off the impending apocalypse. Because let’s face it, you can’t save the world alone.

Flanked by Bats, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and The Flash (and Green Lantern, too?) Cyborg will enjoy his first appearance in the fledgling DCEU when Justice League opens on November 17th.
