Last month we brought you the news that a sequel to the The Expendables would not be directed by Sylvester Stallone, and that he was handing over the directing and writing duties to someone else. Now according to production label Lionsgate, that has all changed. Stallone is back on as director and will have the lead in the movie again.

Plot details are very light and nothing new has been given from last time, none of the cast from the original movie have been confirmed despite Stallone wanting Bruce Willis to play the same role only this time round as the film’s villain. The film has no release date scheduled but is expected to be released around the end of Summer next year. (Screen Rant)
