First Teaser Trailer For Teen Titans Go! Vs Teen Titans Surfaces

Though I'll always remain a Justice League Unlimited guy first and foremost, I'll admit that I do like seeing DC's younger heroes getting a chance to shine. Whether it be Young Justice or DC Super Hero Girls, we've seen drastically different productions meeting the needs of audiences in recent years, with each filling an important niche.

Actually, I’d be remiss if not mentioning Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!, two series featuring the same cast which happen to be radically dissimilar in tone. Of course, there is some overlap on the Venn diagram when it comes to viewership, but there remain fans of the original series who simply don’t dig the current iteration.

Believe it or not, universes are soon set to collide in the enigmatic Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans, which has been confirmed by a brief teaser trailer said to be included on next week’s Blu-ray release of Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, and can be seen at the top of this article.

Teen Titans

As of now, it remains unclear whether this’ll be a TV special or a movie, but we’re intrigued nonetheless. Don’t forget, it was stated back in June that if TTG!TTM did well in theaters, then the original Teen Titans series could make a comeback for a sixth season, although it’s unknown if that’d be via Cartoon Network or the DC Universe streaming service.

Furthermore, one could say this factors into that much talked about post-credits scene showing the old crew saying they’d found a way back. But until we get absolute confirmation, we’re not going to assume season 6 is a certainty, and will instead maintain focus on Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans.

In the meantime, be sure to tide yourself over by picking up Teen Titans Go! To The Movies on Blu-ray on October 30th.
