The Avengers Debate The Sokovia Accords In New Captain America: Civil War Clip

Marvel has released another new clip from Captain America: Civil War today, and it features The Avengers having a heated debate about the pros and cons of the Sokovia Accords (the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of the Superhuman Registration Act).

It’s already easy to see the cracks forming between Team Cap and Team Iron Man here, though it’s still not clear how exactly things will escalate to the point where they end up exchanging blows. Both sides make valid points though, hence why those involved with the movie have said in the past that Captain America: Civil War viewers will end up split down the middle.

For more on what you can expect your favorite heroes to be getting up to in the upcoming Phase 3 film, here’s the official synopsis:

Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is set to be released on May 6th, 2016.
