U.S. Trailer And New Clip For Steve McQueen’s Shame

Steve McQueen‘s Shame has officially been given an NC-17 rating by the MPAA. If the film didn’t already have enough buzz, that’s sure to do the trick. Realizing that people are talking about the pic, Fox Serachlight is ramping up the marketing and today we have both a new clip and trailer for the film.

The depths of Fassbender’s performance, which won him best actor at The Venice Film Festival, are on display in both the clip and trailer, proving that he is a shoe-in for an Oscar nomination.

Shame stars Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan and hits limited theaters on December 2nd, 2011.

Check out the new trailer and clip below.

Shame tells the story of Brandon (Fassbender), a single man who is addicted to sex in any form as long as it does not involve love or intimacy. His ordered lifestyle is thrown into chaos with the arrival of his needy sister (Mulligan).”
