New Look At Vanessa Carlysle In Latest Batch Of Deadpool Stills

We're now a little over a month away from the release of Deadpool, and three more stills from the movie have been released by Fox today. We’re now a little over a month away from the release of Deadpool, and three more stills from the movie have been released by Fox today. While two are simply shots of the Merc with the Mouth (on a location which should be instantly familiar to those of you who kept an eye on set photos), the other gives us another look at Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle.

In the comics, she’s better known as Copycat, a mutant with the ability to transform into anyone. That may sound similar to Mystique, but the character can also copy another mutant’s powers, making her a pretty formidable threat. However, from what we’ve so far seen and heard about Deadpool, it doesn’t sound as if this version will be showing off any of those impressive abilities.

While the images of Ryan Reynolds suited up as Deadpool aren’t really all that exciting, it’s still pretty impressive to see how authentically his costume has been recreated for the big screen. Fans often say that this character or that character looks like they’ve been torn straight from the pages of the comics, but that’s well and truly the case with Wade Wilson.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, and Brianna Hildebrand, Deadpool is set to be released on February 12th, 2016.
