Watch: Arnold Schwarzenegger Attacked By Crazy Fan, Tweets Epic Response

Apparently, someone thought it'd be a good idea to try and attack Arnold Schwarzenegger, but it didn't seem to phase the actor at all.

Say what you will about Arnold Schwarzenegger, but he isn’t about to let go of his cinematic legacy anytime soon – for better or worse.

With a new Terminator film quickly approaching, in which we’ll see him star opposite fellow series legend Linda Hamilton, Schwarzenegger fans will soon get their next fix of the Austrian Oak thanks to Tim Miller’s sci-fi reboot. But it seems not everyone’s excited for more Arnie on their screens, as a crazy fan in South Africa tried to attack the actor this weekend while he was attending the Arnold Classic Africa event.

As you can see in the video down below, a young man runs up to the iconic Hollywood star and seemingly dropkicks him. It connects with Schwarzenegger, too, and sends the 71-year old flying to the ground. Unsurprisingly, the action legend seems completely unfazed by the incident and gets up pretty quickly, while the attacker is apprehended.

A little later in the day, Arnie then took to Twitter to let his fans know he’s fine, posting the following epic tweet:

“Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat.”

Thankfully, it looks like the attacker wasn’t able to do any damage to Arnie and the actor is perfectly alright. At the moment, it’s unknown what this man’s motives were or what exactly he was screaming there while being apprehended, but we imagine more will come to light over the weekend.

Until then, know that you can next see Arnold Schwarzenegger in the aforementioned Terminator: Dark Fate, which is gearing up for a November 1st, 2019 debut. To date, we haven’t seen any footage from it, but we’ve been promised it’ll be going back to basics and be a return to form for the franchise. Let’s just hope that that’s exactly what it is. After all, we need something to wash the terrible taste of Genisys from our mouth.
