It’s been confirmed that Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins are off to London this November to begin principal photography on the solo Wonder Woman movie, but aside from Chris Pine’s love interest, Steve Trevor, we’ve had no idea which other characters from Princess Diana’s rich DC history would be joining them… until now!

Heroic Hollywood’s El Mayimbe dropped a couple of very interesting casting rumors when he appeared on the Source Fed Nerd YouTube show earlier this week. According to his sources, former Game Of Thrones alum Sean Bean is the studio’s pick to play Ares, the God Of War – an extremely powerful character who has been both friend and foe to Wondy over the years.

Furthermore, Eva Green might be gearing up to add another villain to her already ample repertoire, as she’s apparently on Warner Bros.’ radar to portray Circe The Sorceress.

Now, obviously Bean and Green may not land those roles, but based on the information above, it’s a safe bet those characters will at the very least be in the movie, even if someone else winds up playing them.

Gal Gadot will debut as Wonder Woman in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice next year, before headlining her own film on June 23, 2017.
