The nominations for the 2011 BET Awards were released today and Chris Brown is leading with six nominations. The list of nominees is more or less what you’d expect with only minor surprises. There are a couple interesting races though. Best New Artist is going to be a tough one as is Video Of The Year.
Mr. West has found himself a couple well deserved nominations and I’m really hoping he takes home Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, he’s honestly had one hell of a year. I’d also like to see Usher take home Best Male R&B Artist as he made a great comeback this year, bursting back onto the scene just when people were starting to forget about him. The BET Awards 2011 will on June 26th, hosted by comedian Kevin Hart. Check below for a full list of nominees.
