Well, we all knew this one was coming. After their summer “Departures” residency at Ushuaia Ibiza was met with much success, former Swedish House Mafia members Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, or Axwell /\ Ingrosso, as they seem to be going by these days, have signed with Def Jam Records and plan to release a new album together in early 2015.

Steve Bartels, CEO of Def Jam Recordings, said the following about the new deal:

“We are proud at Def Jam to have Axwell /\ Ingrosso choose us to be their label home,” he said. “Their music is forward, innovative, invigorating and boundless. Def Jam has the artistry and energy of DJ culture within its pedigree, right there in our logo. This is a significant moment for all of us as at Def Jam.”

Those who saw the duo this summer have likely already heard the first single from the album, titled This Time We Can’t Go Home. As expected, it’s a real banger and gives us a great idea of what to expect from Axwell /\ Ingrosso‘s upcoming project.
