Diplo Takes On Tiësto’s Secrets

Diplo turns Tiësto's "Secrets" into a quacking trap anthem with his new remix.

In March, Tiësto and KSHMR dropped “Secrets,” a massive progressive house anthem that took festival main stages by storm. Now, the track has received a shocking trap rework from Diplo.

This remix of “Secrets” is a staple Diplo production through and through. The reggae guitar stabs are pulled from Major Lazer, and the quacking trap drop sounds as if it’s plucked straight from Jack Ü’s toolbox. Chopping Vassy’s vocals and laying them over sturdy percussion, Diplo’s created another bouncing masterpiece. Overall, it’s a delightful take on the original’s euphoric synth lead, and offers a much more aerated drop.

Both of Diplo‘s side projects, Jack Ü and Major Lazer, have released albums this year to enormous praise, and his remix of “Secrets” proves that he doesn’t have any plans of slowing down.
