Kygo just uploaded a mini-mix showing off seven new tracks from his debut album, Cloud Nine, and it’s a lovely peek at what he’s been up to.
While the snippets certainly adhere to the infectious tropicalia we’ve come to expect, it seems that Kygo has opted to explore a more gentle and aerated atmosphere. Arguably, it’s the slowed down tracks that catch our attention the most, taking cues from his piano jams. We’re just excited to see Kygo changing up his sound.
While we don’t have any track titles yet, and there’s still no release date, releasing a teaser such as this is big news. And if you need more Kygo in your life, don’t forget he’s throwing his own Cloud Nine Festival in Bergen, Norway on August 20th.
