Charli XCX is ending 2016 with a bang. After releasing the critically acclaimed EP, Vroom Vroom, which was responsible for offering tracks like the monstrous “Paradise” and “Trophy,” Charli is getting set to dish out a brand new single. The track, titled “After the Afterparty,” is set to debut on October 28th, and it’s going to feature a guest spot from hip-hop up and comer, Lil Yachty.

Lil Yachty is already in the midst of feature success right now with D.R.A.M.’s rising hit, “Broccoli,” and surely he’s going to try to recreate the magic with Charli XCX. Charli, on the other hand, has been quiet ever since the February release of her EP, but the fact that a new single is so fast approaching makes up for it.

Of course, that silence didn’t mean she wasn’t up to anything – she has been in the studio hard at work to create the follow-up to her 2014 record, Sucker. It isn’t known whether or not it’s going to see a release this year, but Charli XCX has been cooking things up with the help of producers like Stargate (Rihanna, Fifth Harmony) and BloodPop (Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber), so it looks like we’ll be in for a treat.
