Canadian rock band Nickelback have announced that their next album will be titled Here and Now and that the record will be released on the 21st of November. The news was broken this morning by the band, via their Facebook page, saying that they would release their first two singles of the record onto radio on September 26th, titled Bottoms Up and When We Stand Together.

The statement released by the band reads:

“The brand new Nickelback album, ‘Here and Now’, is heading your way November 21, 2011 also known as “NICKELBLACK MONDAY!”  The first singles, “Bottoms Up” and “When We Stand Together” will ship to rock and pop radio respectively on September 26th, 2011.  Stay tuned for even more big news and keep an ear open for the new music!”

This is Nickelback‘s 7th studio album, and their third album with drummer Daniel Adair. Nickelback’s last album, Dark Horse was released in 2008, and though it didn’t receive as much praise as the previous album, All The Right Reasons, which is considered the band’s best, the album was still received well by fans.

With Nickelback, you either love them or hate them, I fall into the corner of “love”, so for me, and all Nickelback fans out their, this news is very exciting and long awaited. ‘Nickelback Monday’ is only 103 days away!
