Dutch DJ and producer R3HABÂ took to SoundCloud this week to tease the release of an upcoming single titled “Sakura.” The new song is due for release next month and the minute long sample will no doubt have fans excited for the latest track from the producer.
As suggested by its title, “Sakura” takes influence from Eastern sound sources as a Japanese language sample kicks off the preview, backed by the gentle plucks of various Asian string instruments. A horn section delivers an uplifting melody that repeats throughout the build-up, as a pounding snare signals the impending drops. The horn stabs continue into the dance sections, serving as a memorable hook while a driving club beat pounds out an irresistible house rhythm.
The preview for “Sakura” promises another exciting release from R3HAB, who’s been churning out hit after hit over the last several months. It will see its official release on June 10 via Spinnin’ Records, so those of you who dig it won’t have to wait long to add it to your collection.
