Ashley Tisdale Joins Sons Of Anarchy

High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale has joined the cast of FX’s biker drama Sons Of Anarchy for the show’s fifth season. Tisdale will be taking on a multi-episode arc as Emma Jean, “a high-priced desirable escort that will complicate life for the motorcycle club.”

Obviously, this will be a much darker role than Tisdale would traditionally be known for. In saying that, I am very interested to see how she’ll perform. Hopefully, this may be the start of a shift into serious dramatic acting for Tisdale, who has flown under the radar since the last High School Musical film.

Tisdale will be joined by a bunch of well-known actors including Jimmy Smits, Harold Perrineau and real life biker-turned-actor Chuck Zito, who are all guest starring in the new season of Sons Of Anarchy.

Sons Of Anarchy is currently filming its fifth season, which will premiere this September on FX.
