Dead Space 2: Severed Announced

To tie into the release of Dead Space 2, EA has announced today a new title that will be hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace and Playstation Network, that title is Dead Space 2: Severed. The game will be a ‘digital download pack’ that will feature the main characters from Dead Space: Extraction, Gabe and Lexine. Severed will feature two standalone chapters that will run parallel with the story of Issac Clarke.

In Severed you will control Gabe, as he tries to get himself and Lexine off the Sprawl all while fighting off an onslaught of Necromorphs. There is no price or date for the game but you can expect to hear more soon.
