According To Game Informer, A New Gears Of War Game Will Be Unveiled At E3

With only days remaining until the 2012 iteration of the Electronic Entertainment Expo opens its doors to video game journalists, another Game Informer cover image has the industry buzzing. Why is that? Well, July's issue of the popular magazine will apparently feature a new Gears of War game on its cover.

UPDATE: Through Twitter, Epic Games President Mike Capps revealed that Bulletstorm developer People Can Fly is attached to this project.

With only days remaining until the 2012 iteration of the Electronic Entertainment Expo opens its doors to video game journalists, another Game Informer cover image has the industry buzzing. Why is that? Well, July’s issue of the popular magazine will apparently feature a new Gears of War game on its cover.

Fans of the series are surely itching to find out more about this secretive project, and will be happy to hear that they won’t have to wait until the listed issue hits store shelves to do so. It’s been said that Microsoft plans to reveal info regarding this sure to be anticipated release on Monday, during its E3 press conference.

Since the first three Gears of War games were released as a trilogy, it’ll be interesting to hear where Microsoft will take us with this next iteration.
