Miami woman faces charges after allegedly throwing a bucket of poop on her neighbor, whom she accused of sleeping with her husband

Yirsi Machado Rivera is currently facing charges of burglary of an occupied dwelling and battery following an incident involving a bucket of human feces, NBC Miami reported. The 50-year-old Miami resident was taken into custody and processed at the Miami-Dade jail after authorities were called to investigate the confrontation.

The situation unfolded on Monday evening at the Royal Country Mobile Homes neighborhood located on Northwest 200th Terrace. Machado Rivera and the victim live in separate portions of a split trailer, which put them in close proximity when the dispute began.

According to an arrest report, Machado Rivera went to the victim’s side of the trailer and began banging on the door. Once the victim opened the door, the report indicates that Machado Rivera initiated a confrontation by accusing her of having a sexual relationship with her husband.

Machado Rivera’s side of the story is even more bizarre

Police stated that Machado Rivera forced her way inside the home and proceeded to throw a bucket containing human feces onto the victim. The report notes that the defendant allegedly told a witness that she intentionally used the bucket to throw the contents in the victim’s face.

When officers arrived to investigate, they spoke with Machado Rivera to get her side of the story. She provided a significantly different account of the evening. She claimed that she had been attempting to dispose of a bucket of “caca” because her own toilet was broken.

She denied entering the neighbor’s home and claimed that she never threw the bucket at the victim. Instead, Machado Rivera alleged that the two were having an ongoing dispute regarding a smell and claimed that the neighbor actually hit her over the head with a bat.

The case moved to the courtroom on Tuesday when Machado Rivera appeared before a judge. During the bond court hearing, Judge Mindy Glazer summarized the allegations against the defendant. “So this is an interesting case, she thinks the neighbor is having relations with her husband so she pushes her way into the victim’s house and then throws poop on the victim, a bucket of poop,” Judge Glazer said.

Judge Glazer ordered Machado Rivera to be held without bond and mandated that she stay away from the alleged victim. The court also appointed a public defender to represent her as the case moves forward.
