The release date for the re-re-remake of Ninja Gaiden was, like a ninja, shrouded in mystery. Thanks to an announcement this morning, we know that the game will be ready for the Vita’s launch on February 22.

New details have also surfaced about some controls for the game. In addition to the already announced Hero Mode, which lets players play with auto-blocking and dodging, the gyro sensor will be available for aiming projectiles, and the rear touch pad can be used to activate ninpo magic.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus adds an already impressive launch line up for the PlayStation Vita, including the likes of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom and Rayman Origins.

Looks like I’m picking up one more game at launch.
