Is Ridge Racer Vita No Longer A Scheduled Launch Day Release?

From the sounds of things, PlayStation Vita buyers will have to wait a little while longer to fly through the digital roadways found in Ridge Racer Vita. The handheld racer has seemingly received a delay, after being removed from the device’s North American launch day line-up list on the PlayStation Blog. It has been added to the site’s launch window list instead.

An official release has not been issued, but this does make sense. Earlier this week, news broke concerning the game’s rather rushed development cycle. The plan was to have it ready for launch day. However, more time was most-likely needed, which is completely understandable.

I’m fine with waiting if it means an improved game. There will certainly be enough launch day releases to check out.
