After purchasing the rights to Sleeping Dogs (formerly True Crime: Hong Kong), Square Enix has made a ton of assets available to its developers. Without this help, the project may never have seen the light of day, but it’s great to know that it will. Those of us who have been eagerly awaiting this sandbox action game will be happy to find out that it’s scheduled for release on August 14. That information was just confirmed by the Japanese publisher, through press release means.
Popular Canadian MMA fighter Georges St-Pierre has been working with United Front Games, in order to assist the team with “multiple elements” related to its hand-to-hand combat system. As a result, Best Buy will be giving away the GSP Pack as its pre-order bonus. It will contain his signature ‘flying punch,’ an exclusive outfit and increased grapple/throw damage.
