Sonic Generations may be getting an awesome console and PC version, but SEGA hasn’t told us much about the 3DS version. Well, we now know at least when we’ll be able to play it.

The magic date is November 22, which was actually the original rumored date for the console versions.

In addition to taking the speeding hedgehog portable, the 3DS version will also feature exclusive levels such as Casino Night Zone from Sonic 2, Mushroom Hill from Sonic & Knuckles and Emerald Coast from Sonic Adventure.

The game will release for XBOX 360, PS3 and PC on November 1, 2011.

What say you, gamers? I sort of want to try out both the console and 3DS version.
