West Point cadet accused of drugging his pregnant girlfriend before forcing her to take abortion pills, telling her, ‘Eat this, it’s good for you’

The Jane Doe is seeking damages after the cadet pleaded guilty in June.

A former West Point cadet who admitted to drugging his then-girlfriend and feeding her abortion pills against her will is now being sued by the unnamed victim. According to the lawsuit that was filed in New York on October 28, Caleb T. Suh gave the woman a prenatal protein shake laced with sedatives before inserting the abortion pills into her mouth and vagina.

The woman, who was only identified as “Jane Doe,” sued Suh over an incident that took place in March 2022. She accused the one-time cadet of assault and battery and is seeking damages. According to Fox News, Suh previously pled guilty to assault resulting in substantial bodily injury to another partner in June this year.

Suh and ‘Doe’ were both cadets

The couple had both been cadets at West Point when Jane Doe learned that she was pregnant in January 2022. According to the lawsuit, Suh pressured Doe to have an abortion, but she said that she intended to keep the baby. Suh appeared to support her decision, but later, he told the judge that he used Doe’s identification to create an online pharmacy account in her name where he ordered abortion drugs without her knowing, according to CNN.

The New York Post reported that he also obtained xanax and promethazine, which he mixed into a protein shake to sedate the woman. Suh also allegedly insisted she finish the drink after she expressed disgust over the taste, “holding the bottle against her lips and forcing her to drink it.”

Once she was sedated, Suh administered the abortion pills both orally and vaginally. Hours later, Jane Doe became ill and was taken to hospital, where doctors confirmed the miscarriage.

Doe reported the incident to the Army Criminal Investigation Division in May 2022, and Suh was subsequently charged and pleaded guilty in June 2026. “My intent was to use the Xanax to unwittingly sedate my girlfriend so that I could then administer the abortion pills, which I had obtained via the online pharmacy,” Suh said, according to the complaint filed against him.

Jane Doe ‘suffered a life-changing event’

Jane Doe’s is seeking unspecified damages for the assault. Her lawyer, Russel Kornblith, claimed that “She’s suffered a life-changing event that she is still dealing with and will be dealing with for the rest of her life.”

After the incident, Suh went on to study emergency medicine at Cornell University and is now enrolled at Columbia University. The former cadet previously asked the judge to delay his sentencing until January so that he could finish the semester without interruption. His request has since been granted, and Suh is expected to be sentenced in January. Prosecutors are seeking a two-year sentence.
