Donald Trump hears a question from a reporter in Florida. Then he brings up Jeffrey Epstein: ‘All Democrats involved’

He was asked about corruption concerns

During an afternoon session with reporters in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday, President Donald Trump took a question about public concern over corruption ahead of the midterms. A Wall Street Journal reporter raised the topic after a Fox News poll found that 88 percent of Americans were extremely or very concerned about the issue. The reporter asked why Trump viewed corruption as one of the leading factors in the coming elections.

According to Mediaite, Trump responded that Democrats are very corrupt and called corruption one of the biggest things. He pointed to Minnesota, Los Angeles, and New York, saying the corruption is rampant in those places. He described it as a very big factor in his view.

When the reporter started a follow-up question, Trump interrupted and asked who he wrote for. The reporter answered that he worked for the Wall Street Journal. Trump then told him the paper was worse than anybody and that it had lost its way.

Remarks in West Palm Beach include criticism of news coverage and reference to Jeffrey Epstein

Trump said there is massive corruption on the Democrat side that the Wall Street Journal does not cover and should examine. He told the reporter to look at Minnesota, Maine, and Los Angeles, adding that Republicans are straight and solid. He urged the paper to focus on what he called the real corruption. He has deflected reporters’ questions about Epstein survivors before.

“But you oughta look at the real corruption. It’s Democrat corruption, and that includes Jeffrey Epstein. All Democrats involved,” he said. The exchange followed recent Wall Street Journal reporting on Kimberly Guilfoyle, who left her role as U.S. Ambassador to Greece earlier this month. According to the Journal, Guilfoyle had been bragging about her close ties to two Greek tycoons and said they were bankrolling her high-rolling trips around the world.

An audio tape captured Guilfoyle asking a wealthy Greek businessman for help getting an invitation to a dinner hosted by Eric Trump. On the recording, she said she could deliver the world to him and that she was going to make him a lot of f–king money. Those reports prompted Guilfoyle to resign from the position.

Roughly 10 minutes after the first exchange, the same reporter asked Trump how far along he was on a possible attack on Iran. Trump answered by asking whether the reporter really thought he would share that information. The reporter replied that he had to ask.

Trump labeled the question stupid and said it made no sense for him to indicate whether an attack was planned. He noted that an attack remained a possibility while also saying the two sides could reach a nice, big beautiful agreement.
