Children crying because of Israeli air raids on October 15, 2023 in Khan Yunis, Gaza. Many Gazan citizens have fled to the south following warnings from the Israeli government to do so. Israel has sealed off Gaza and launched sustained retaliatory air strikes, which have killed at least 1,400 people with more than 300,000 displaced, after a large-scale attack by Hamas. On October 7, the Palestinian militant group Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel from Gaza by land, sea, and air, killing over 1,300 people and wounding around 2,800. Israeli soldiers and civilians have also been taken hostage by Hamas and moved into Gaza. The attack prompted a declaration of war by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the announcement of an emergency wartime government. ‘There are innocent people being hurt. Badly. Needlessly’: U.S. contractors horrified at colleagues shooting starving people in Gaza

Now Americans are joining in on IDF cruelty.

Each day brings fresh horrors out of Gaza, with the crimes against humanity committed against innocent civilians an indelible moral stain on Israel and the Western governments who support it. The nightmare has only been escalating in intensity throughout 2025.

Israel has now banned UN and other aid organizations from entering Gaza, with the American-run Gaza Humanitarian Foundation assuming the responsibility of distributing food and water.

For Palestinians, getting this aid means putting their lives on the line, and hundreds of starving men, women, and children have been coldly executed by IDF soldiers this year alone. But, in an alarming twist, US contractors are apparently more than happy to join in.

As per a report in the AP, American contractors working at aid distribution sites are firing live ammunition at starving people and bombarding them with stun grenades and pepper spray. The testimony comes from two anonymous contractors fearful for their safety, who say they’re “disturbed” by colleagues who are “unqualified, unvetted, heavily armed and seemed to have an open license to do whatever they wished.”

They report that their colleagues fire bullets in all directions – “in the air, into the ground, and at times toward the Palestinians” – and confirm they believe people have been shot. As they put it:
“There are innocent people being hurt. Badly. Needlessly.”

“Hell yeah, boy!”

It seems the general mood amongst those charged with administering aid is intense paranoia about those who arrive for food and water. The staff take notes on anyone they consider “suspicious” and then pass that information to the IDF, who presumably then place them on their kill list.

Their statement are backed up by their videos showing starving people pressed between metal gates, desperate for aid and terrified by the sound of gunfire, stun grenades, and the “sting of pepper spray”. One video shows American contractors discussing how to disperse people and beginning to fire wildly as they whoop and holler. One person says, “I think you hit one”, and gets the reply, “Hell, yeah, boy!”

Journalists have been forbidden from accessing Gaza Humanitarian Foundation sites, so secretive reports and videos like these from disturbed contractors are the only way the real story is getting out. It seems that, once again, no matter how bad you believe the situation in Gaza is, the reality on the ground is more cruel, more sadistic, and more inhumane than you could possibly imagine.
